Born out of Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, Vans brought this global flagship event to London’s Spitalfields Market. The event itself invites 10 of skateboarding's core hardware brands to submit a design for a unique obstacle. Each obstacle is then skated in order by 40 of the best skateboarders in Europe competing for the 50,000 Euro prize. We took care of all event management and venue branding, including bespoke market stalls to let the Victorian architecture shine through. Thousands of fans flocked to the event – there was even a “Van Doran” pizza parlour manned by Steve ‘Vans’ Van Doren himself.
